After the passing of Buddha, his 4 canine teeth were said to have been separately worshiped and enshrined
The Sacred Tooth Relic is the left canine tooth of Buddha. The tooth arrived in Sri Lanka from India in the 4th Century and is enshrined in the golden casket shown here. The Sacred Tooth (Dalada)
