Raffles Hotel Singapore

A set of four Armenian brothers were the visionary founders of Raffles Hotel in the late 19th century. Its name soon became was synonymous with British colonialism in southeastern Asia. In part this was due to the many writers who passed through here, including Joseph Conrad, Rudyard Kipling, Noel Coward
