One of the earliest postcard images of the ancient Indus city of Mohenjo-daro
Excavations at Mohenjo-daro in Sind only began in 1922 and continued throughout the 1930s. It depicts one of the most surprising discoveries for the first archaeologists, the high level of sanitation used by inhabitants 4,000 years ago.
