Earth Oil wells - Venanchuong

Myanmar produces around 40 percent of the total amount of diesel and petrol that it consumes

Prior to 1963, Myanmar extracted oil chiefly from the oil fields of Chauk and Yenangyaung located in Central Myanmar Basin. These were some of the earliest oil wells in Southeast Asia. To meet the rising demand for oil, the government has expanded oil exploration and production. The balance of Myanmar's
