Although referred to as a Granary, modern archaeologists are unsure of its purpose
|
 |
A view from the top of the so-called granary shows the remnants of two wells besides the wall that were built in the region to the north of the structure. The drain emerging from the Great Bath would have passed along the modern pathway. Although earlier archaeologists were quick to call this, and a similar structure in Harappa, granaries, there is no evidence that they were used to store food. |
