Major attractions of Nikko are the Rinnoji Temple, Toshogu Shrine and Futarasan Shrine. Nikko is also popular for its autumn foliage. Nikko literally means sunlight and the town is at least 1,300 years old. This red lacquered bridge from the early 17th century was one of the first in the country to use
