Japan's highest peak, Mount Fuji is a dormant volcano that last erupted in 1708.

Mount Fuji can be seen from both Tokyo and Yokohama on clear days. This almost perfectly shaped volcano has been worshiped as a sacred mountain and has inspired many artists.
