Palm trees are one of the most extensively cultivated plant families. Many products and foods are derived from palm trees, and they are widely used in landscaping. In many historical cultures, palm
trees were symbols for such ideas as victory, peace, and fertility.
Kerala is a state on the Western Coast of south-western India. In east and north-east, Kerala borders Tamil Nadu state and Karnataka state, to it's west lies the Arabian Sea and to it's south the Indian Ocean islands of Lakshadweep and the Maldives, respectively. The Kerala State of India is popular for backwaters. Kerala envelops Mahe, a coastal exclave of Pondicherry. Kerala is one of four states that make the linguistic-cultural region known as South India. |
