Palm trees are one of the most extensively cultivated plant families. Many products and foods are derived from palm trees, and they are widely used in landscaping. In many historical cultures, palm trees were symbols for such ideas as victory, peace, and fertility.
Kerala is a state on the Western Coast of south-western India.
