Daspan village is located in Jalore district of the state of Rajasthan. The village has fertile fields of crops, and is also known for its embroidered shoes. There are also some families that make bows
and arrows in the Bhil style.

Castle Durjan Niwas is a small but beautiful fortress palace, built in the early 19th century by the Rathore Champawat, clan of Marwar.
