The Maharajah's Palace, Udaipur

Also known as the City Palace, part of the Palace is a tourist site and museum, while the other half is home to the current Maharajah of Udaipur.
The City Palace was originally built by Maharana Uday Singh on the gorgeous Lake Pichola as a summer home. The entire Palace features stunning murals, paintings and works of art. Peacocks and horses are common motifs used in the designs.
