Srinagar is famous for its scenic locales and the Jhelum River flowing through a part of the city. Amongst various tourist attractions of the place, the magnificent 18th century Srinagar fort constructed by the Mughals. Jama Masjid, the chief mosque of the city constructed in the 14th century, is also a big draw of Srinagar. The city is over 2,000 years old.
