The hill station of Mount Abu, formerly part of the Chauhan Kingdom of Rajasthan, served as the summer resort of the Rajput rulers

Mt. Abu, a popular hill retreat, is a green oasis in the barren landscape of Rajasthan. Located at the southern tip of the Aravalli range, Mount Abu has rich flora that includes flowering shrubs and pine trees. Mount Abu has several Jain temples, the most famous being the Dilwara Temples.
