Hotel Cecil was one of the most famous British hotels of Delhi
|
 |
Hotel Cecil was in an 11 acre park in Rajniwas Marg in Delhi's Civil Lines area. There were more than hundred rooms, a swimming pool and lush green lawns at Hotel Cecil, one the the city's finest. There was apparently even a branch in Murree, now in Pakistan, which still stands and is called the Hotel Cecil today. In 1960, the former Hotel Cecil gave way to the St. Xavier's School. |
