The place of pilgrimage is close to the famous Dargah of Khwaja Muin-ud-Din Chishti in Ajmer
The Arhai-Din-Ka-Jhopra was built roughly in 1200 by Qutb-ud-Din Aibak. This place was the site of a religious fair in the earlier days that lasted for 2.5 days. This is probably the reason why it is also famous as the 'Hut of Two-and-a-Half Days'. The architecture of Arhai-Din-Ka-Jhopra showcases Indo-Islamic influence. In 1230, Iltutmish built a screen having seven arches in front of the main hall. The Arhai-Din-Ka-Jhopra is made of several parts of Jain and Hindu temples that were assembled here and reused. The prayer hall of this building has a ceiling whose corbeled domes are supported by square shaped bays.
