Peking's Summer Palace reflects both Chinese building construction and traditional landscape architecture
The Summer Palace in Peking (Beijing) spreads across three square kilometers and was twice pillaged during colonial times. The palace was later rebuilt, is now on UNESCO's World Heritage List and a major tourist attraction.
