The city of Taipei is dotted with Buddhist, Confucian and Taoist temples
The city of Taipeh (Taipei) is positioned in the northern part of Taiwan. Xinsheng South Road of the country is called "the road to heaven" as it has many churches and a mosque. Apart from large temples, the sight of local deities and small outdoor shrines is also a common thing on road sides, neighborhoods and parks. Several homes and business houses of this land also set up little figurines and shrines made of candles.
